Beyond certification, it's worth asking which hospital they operate in (not an unaccredited office), how many similar procedures they've performed, and what protocol they follow in case of a postoperative complication.

A common red flag: surgeons who avoid showing their professional license or specific certification, or who only present themselves through result photos on social media without clear credential verification.
